Before you meet with the final decisions on individual choices, stop and think about some more general questions:
* All measurements should you choose to relate to your life in style and content. So you are a romantic couple or are you more pragmatic? Do you have favorite authors who have relationships in a way that is meaningful to you, written deep in your heart?
* Those who read here should be able to convey the importance of the election. Do you have friends, professional speakers, actors, or teachers? Are there people you know who read inspirational literature that could be a good resource, not only as a reader, but which people can specify the possible interpretations.
* Both poetry and prose offers a wide range of options. Which of these print media are the best solution for you two? There are wonderful writers in both areas. It speaks for you? Remember that both popular and classical songs are poetry. Is there a song from your courtship, whose words describe why you marry each other? You may not want to have it sung, you just want someone to read it.
* A reading is a good representative of your heritage or nationality. This is a great way to say that your community while your future is right here with this person, your roots and an important contribution to the richness of your life are common.
* Do not use the same values as everyone else. You do not want your wedding to be a copy of your friend's wedding, or a movie star. This is your wedding. This is your relationship to be celebrated. Certainly, classical, beautiful, and is apt, for love, after all, love, there are so many wonderful readings to choose from. Do not limit yourself to the beautiful but very common.
The Web, the library and bookstores go to wonderful resources. I would be careful to read from a friend's wedding, because you go to do your readings to be special for you. Your community wants to support your marriage. The more they are on you, understand your lover and your love will be in a better position, why you make that promise, and how they celebrate the marriage promises that will be the foundation of your marriage.
